It appears Harley is trying to get a new demographic into their bikes. Story linked above says they realized that their traditional market is getting older and younger riders aren't filling in behind them. So they are targeting younger riders in their ads and trying to "introduce" them to HD.
The current financial situation isn't helping as many consider a motorcycle purchase to be a luxury and therefore putting of a purchase.
What do you think? Are you considering a new bike and putting it off while waiting to see what the economy is doing? Do you think Harley will be able to get a younger audience interested in their bikes?
