How can I get the lowest discounted price?

In order to get the lowest discounted price, you must get the part numbers for the parts you want to order. Please utilize our microfiche links to find the part numbers for the parts you need.


Does Cycle-Parts.com sell used parts?

No. All of the parts we sell are new, OEM parts. We also sell only new aftermarket parts.


What is the minimum order amount?

The minimum order amount is $75 before shipping. Unfortunately, we are unable to place orders under $75 with our distributors. If your order is under $75, we suggest you add some basic items that always come in handy like oil or air filters, or you can visit our partner site who can fulfill orders under $75 at retail prices.

If you need to add a part or parts that are under $75 to an order you have already placed, just email us at orderchanges@cycle-parts.com.


Are there any tips for making sure I have the correct part number for the part I need?

Always double-check the part number before placing your order. Especially check that you have the correct color code for plastics, fuel tanks, and any other painted parts. If you are unsure about any part number you can contact us at questions@cycle-parts.com before ordering, and we can help verify that the number is correct. If you aren't sure about the part number, description, quantity, or schematic information, please contact us before placing your order. Cycle-Parts.com is not liable for inaccurate or incomplete part descriptions, errors in schematics, or erroneous information all of which are provided by the manufacturers.


How should I enter part numbers?

Include the dashes that are in the part number when entering the number on our site unless it is a Tucker Rocky number. In that case you must omit the dash. There are no letter O's in part numbers, only zeroes (0). If a part number does not come up in your cart, please contact us at questions@cycle-parts.com. There is a possibility that the number has not been added to our database yet.


Do you carry parts for older motorcycles?

We can get parts for older model bikes. If you would like to check the availability in advance, please email us at questions@cycle-parts.com. If you want only all or none of the parts on your order, indicate this in the "special instructions" section of the order form. This way you don't wind up with one out of 15 parts for your 1979 bike. If all or none is not indicated you will receive whichever parts are available.


What if my part is discontinued?

We will notify you by email as soon as our distributor notifies us if any part on your order is discontinued. Obviously, you will not be charged for any discontinued parts.


What if my part is on backorder?

We will notify you by email if your order contains a part that is on backorder. Our distributors give us ETA's on backordered parts if and when they are given ETA's by the manufacturer. However, sometimes the manufacturers do not provide ETA's.

Your part will remain on backorder for at least 30 days. After this time, we will contact you to find out if you still want to wait for the part. Remember, unless someone has the part on the shelf, you will not be able to get the part faster from anyone else, so we recommend you keep your place in line and not cancel your backorder unless you no longer want or need the part.

There is no restocking fee to cancel backordered parts unless they have already shipped.


How do I cancel an order?

Because parts are classified as "special order," you must cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it at our website. If you cancel your order after this time frame, we will charge a 25% restocking fee. No orders can be canceled once parts have shipped.

International orders may be canceled at any time before you make the payment for additional shipping. Once you have paid the international shipping estimate, the order is processed and a 25% restocking fee will apply to any cancellations.

Backordered parts may be canceled at any time prior to shipment with no restocking fee.

Please email us at orderchanges@cycle-parts.com with your cancellation request. The auto-reply email you receive will contain further cancellation information and will serve as your receipt that your cancellation request was received on time. If you call us to cancel your order and do not receive an email confirming your cancellation, your order has not been canceled. Please email us your cancellation request for your protection.

Please check the UPS Ground transit time maps to see if you live in an area with 2 day transit time. If you do, you can choose ground service to receive your parts in the same amount of time for much less. Please remember that expedited shipping only increases the shipping speed not the speed at which the parts leave the warehouse.

International and APO customers should not choose UPS 2 day as the shipping option. If you want expedited shipping for your parts, please contact us at orders@cycle-parts.com or write a request in the Delivery Note section at checkout. We will contact you with pricing and further information regarding this option.

Are there any extra charges for oversize parts such as ATV fenders?

Yes, ATV fenders, PWC hoods/seats, snowmobile parts, side-by-side parts, and other oversize items such as some tanks and plastics may require additional freight charges. If you think any part on your order may require additional freight charges, it will speed the order process greatly if you contact us by email immediately after placing your order. Otherwise we will notify you of any additional shipping charges by email once we determine what those charges are. Please let us know ASAP if you want to continue with the order. If we do not receive a reply, we will be forced to cancel the order.


Does Cycle-Parts.com ship internationally and to APO's?

Yes. We ship to international, APO, Alaska, and Hawaii addresses. Orders may be shipped by USPS, DHL, or FedEx at the customer's preference. FedEx is available only to international addresses and only when the customer provides a FedEx billing account number.

When placing your order online, choose the gound shipping option, not UPS 2 Day. You may request expedited shipping options in the Delivery Note section at checkout. After you complete your order, we will email you with the estimated additional shipping and handling cost. This email will contain instructions on how to proceed with your order if the additional shipping and handling charges are acceptable. We will not actually charge you for the additional shipping and handling until the parts ship and will only charge you for the actual shipping cost plus handling not the estimate. If the actual shipping charges exceed the original estimate we will notify you before shipping the parts.

For some Honda and Harley parts, our distributors do not ship parts directly to our international or APO customers. Therefore, the shipping charge reflected when you place your order online is the shipping charge to get the parts from our distributor to us. The shipping and handling estimate we email you is the charge to repackage and securely pack the parts and to get the parts from us to you.

Can I have my parts shipped to a P.O. box?

Domestically, UPS does not deliver to PO boxes. For international orders, some carriers will deliver to PO boxes. Email us at shipping@cycle-parts.com for questions regarding this.


How long will it take to receive my parts?

*PLEASE NOTE: We are currently experiencing delays from our manufacturers that are beyond our control. Please allow 10 business days for your parts to arrive during this period. This is not our normal transit time, and we have been assured that this delay period will end shortly, but we have no control over the situation and want you to be aware of it. We are essentially at their mercy, and thank you for your patience during this frustrating time. Honda, Yamaha, and Harley orders are not affected by this delay and will ship normally.
Most parts ship in 3-4 business days. Your location, the brand of motorcycle parts that you ordered, the age of the motorcycle you ordered the part for, and the location of the manufacturer's warehouse from which your part is coming are all factors in how long it takes for your parts to arrive. Rest assured, we will get your parts to you as soon as humanly possible.

Most parts will arrive within 5-7 business days of placing your order when shipped by UPS Ground Service. Expedited shipping service reduces travel time from our distributor to you. It does not make parts leave the warehouse any quicker.

Can I return a part?

All parts are classified as "special order." This means we cannot accept parts for return or exchange unless the part is damaged when you receive it, or you ordered the correct part but were sent the wrong part. Before ordering, please be sure you have the correct part number for the part you need. If you are not sure about the part number, the description, or the quantity, contact us before placing your order. Email us at questions@cycle-parts.com if you need help confirming that you have the correct part number.

Please do not delay in unpacking your parts. Open them immediately upon arrival to verify that they are correct. If there are any problems or discrepancies with your order, contact us immediately at custservice@cycle-parts.com or 1-877-578-1371.


What do I do if I received an incorrect or damaged part?

If you do receive a damaged part or were shipped a part other than the part you ordered, please follow these instructions:
1) Don't panic.
2) Keep all packaging. Do not throw anything away.
3) Email us at custservice@cycle-parts.com or call us at 1-877-578-1371 for assistance.
4) Do not attempt to return parts without emailing or calling us first. We must provide you with a return authorization number and a mailing address before you can return any parts. Parts that are returned without contacting us first will be returned to you. Do not return parts to our PO box.
All damaged parts must be returned within 30 days. No parts will be accepted for return for any reason after 45 days. Electrical parts cannot be returned unless they have been damaged during shipping.

Does Cycle-Parts.com charge restock fees?

Yes. We charge a 25% restock fee on parts that are canceled after 12 hours.


Do the parts I buy from Cycle-Parts.com come with a warranty?

Yes. To qualify for warranty coverage, the part must be installed by an authorized dealer. Warranty coverage is administered by the manufacturer not by Cycle-Parts.com. Please contact the manufacturer directly for all warranty claims or contact us at custservice@cycle-parts.com, and we can assist you in finding the manufacturer's contact information.

How long has Cycle-Parts.com been in business?

We have been selling OEM parts online since 1995, well before most people had even heard of or contemplated "online" shopping. We originally began as a couple riders trying to help ourselves and other riders get Honda parts at a discount to retail prices.
